about

This is Logan's most important song about his uncle, who has faced many challenges in his life. The song was originally written with his previous band. Logan asked to be able to carry this song over to Fragments, and fortunately we are able to bring you the final version of Dear Troy.

Producer/Engineer Cory Spotts (also of CIVILIA) took on the duties of vocals for the song.

lyrics

These four walls hang frames without pictures,
No memory of life,
Just this grey ceiling,
Nothing I chose led me to the answers,
Why was I given all this pain?
Why Can’t I go back?
Trapped down within the depths choking on the water,
Gripping to the stone walls grasping at the mortar,

Stars above screaming my name,

Can’t remember why I’m here,
Why I even came,
Addressing these letters so I won’t be forgotten,
I’ll live in ink and graphite sentences,

Attached to the paper that hangs on your window,
Forever forgotten and thrown away
Why can’t I go back?
Trapped down within the depths choking on the water,
Gripping to the stone walls grasping at the mortar,

Stars above screaming my name,

Can’t remember why I’m here,
Why I even came,
Please God hear my pleas
Please God hear my screams
Trapped down within the depths choking on the water,
Gripping to the stone walls grasping at the mortar,

Stars above screaming my name,

Can’t remember why I’m here,
Why I even came,
